DAY TRIP FROM MARRAKECH TO IMLIL

The driver from Out To Morocco Tours will take you up from your riad and bring you towards the Atlas Mountains. You can ride a mule as we drive through Berber settlements and take in the breathtaking scenery. Before returning to Marrakech, stop for a traditional lunch in a Berber house and go for a brief walk with your driver.

The Atlas Mountains day trip is one of the most magnificent day trips from Marrakech. We continue south into the Moulay Brahim Gorges, and Asni is well-known for its weekly market, which takes place every Saturday. We next drive to Imlil via a beautiful valley that remains fresh and lush even on the hottest summer days.

Imlil is a little village located at the slopes of Morocco's tallest peak, Toubkal. Imlil is the center for hiring mountain guides and mules due to its unusual location and proximity to various berber settlements, and it is also a popular starting place for treks and hikes to the summit of Toubkal. When we arrive in Imlil, we will park our vehicle and ride mules for about 40 minutes south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (1843m)ng out in all directions to obtain our lunch, which will be served in a berber residence in Aroumd.
