3-DAY SAHARA DESERT TO MERZOUGA FROM MARRAKECH

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - ROSE VALLEY - DADES GORGES

Out The driver from To Morocco Tours will pick you up from your riad and take you via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, Morocco's highest road pass at an altitude of 2260m. You are welcome to take photographs of the stunning scenery as we drive through picturesque Berber communities and learn about Morocco's rich history. You will then visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a well-preserved kasbah that has served as inspiration and filming location for films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

We continue our three-day tour from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert, where you will explore Ouarzazate, before driving through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Skoura Oasis and visiting the Valley of the Roses near Kelaa M'Gouna. We arrive in Dades Gorges in time for dinner at a small kasbah.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA - ERG CHEBBI DESERT CAMP

Today, after breakfast, we see the best of Dades Gorges before heading to Todra Gorges, which consists of ochre-colored cliffs 300 meters high, with the narrowest sections barely 20 meters wide. We proceed through Erfoud to the little oasis of Merzouga. You'll meet your camel guides here, who will transport you over the beautiful Merzouga dunes. Enjoy the sunset, and after two hours on camel back, we'll arrive at our desert camp, where you'll spend the night with a dinner. DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI - MERZOUGA DUNES- NKOB - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

Returning to Merzouga village, your next destination will be the ancient city of Rissani, then we will travel toward the Sarhro volcanic mountains, which feature striking rock formations and panoramic views, we will reach Draa Valley, Morocco's largest oasis, and we will explore film studios in Ouarzazate before returning to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. You will be dropped off at your hotel. The tour has concluded.
